With Love

After a successful 20-year career in the import/export business, owner Farshid decided to indulge his lifelong dream of owning a restaurant. He bought a small cafe at the junction of Scollard and Davenport called Portici and remade it into Portici Pizzeria. Installing a top of the line Moretti pizza oven and a pasta station, Farshid now produces one of Toronto’s premier pizzas. Which features special recipe dough and San Marzano tomato sauce as well as a unique list of toppings. Salads, pastas, house specialties and homemade desserts compliment the menu. Though small (only 24 seats) Portici Pizzeria expands to 60 seats during patio season with a lovely quiet corner where you can still enjoy the passing Yorkville scene.

The Team



While Farshid handles the front, his brother Hossein leads a small, dedicated team in the kitchen. Everything is made from scratch so you may wait a little longer. Please be patient and rest assured the wait will be worth it once you try our food!
